December 2017—NCCCO participated in the annual meeting of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) held in Vancouver, British Columbia, in October. The meeting, which attracted representatives of standards and accrediting bodies from all over the world, featured two important sessions on compliance with ISO 17024, the international standard that NCCCO is accredited to through ANSI.
As the only certification body present, NCCCO was able to provide a unique perspective on its experiences during more than 10 years of accreditation. IAF is the world association of Accreditation Bodies dedicated to developing a single worldwide program of conformity assessment to reduce risk for business and its customers.
